To be blunt, I'll tell you exactly what's going on with PAM ... the company is putting the screws to your husband. Hope things get better for him.

PAM has been doing a lot of crap lately, namely turning most long runs into relays. A couple guys I know that are still there or have just recently left said that they rarely finish long loads....they relay them halfway or so. It's kinda like they have moved into having drivers in "sectors"

    OCC Thanks this.

The only real physical part is during securement when you will have to lift a lumber tarp and carry it to the trailer. Then jump onto the trailer from the side, pick the tarp up and push it over the 45,000lb coil on the trailer, climb down and carry the tarp back to where you started. Thats about it.

Im almost out of cdl school and am set to go to orientation on the 4th of Feb. Was a tough choice between tmc and maverick but tmc is more veteran friendly it seems like. Not to mention the trucks and paper logs.lol.

Hate to tell you but,,,,,TMC will be all electronic logs by June-July. Have no fear. If you have never done a log book before you will learn it faster than us dogs that filled the papers out everyday. Everyone complains about the e-logs and fears them. I've been on them since September and wouldn't want to go back.
In the end there is no way around it. If your going to drive a company truck, sooner or later you will be on the e-log.

    Be safe.

Yep, the recruiter came today. Said if you get a truck without the elog it will be installed on its first service.
