TMC from the inside

Sorry I forgot where you live at. Really % makes you more almost all the time. Especially after you've been here long enough to prove yourself. Thats when you will start getting better loads. I've always been on % and have never thought about switching to mileage.

 

Its 150 miles or more now. On linehaul, more then an hours drive or 60 miles was rare.

 

What do they pay you for that?

 

only .20 a mile after 150 miles. But being on % pay makes up for it.

 

Yeah thats not bad. I was expecting to dead head the whole way with no pay. I live right off of I75 in southern Kentucky. I dont see many tmc trucks but then again i guess that'll make mine look all the better.lol

 

That would be a good area! We have a lot of places in the knoxville area that we pick up at.

 

Thats great! Im glad to hear that. And so is my wife. She was pushing more for maverick just based on the number of there trucks we see. But they're recruiters are snoody. Tmc went ahead and gave me a date half way through cdl school. Plus the hillbilly in us loved those black Pete's.lol. and to ice the cake a maverick truck was broke down on the interstate friday so that helped my case. Im leaving at about 5am heading for des moines.

 

Made it to Des Moines. Getting settled into my room watching the super bowl.
