TMC in Louisiana.

I was denied by TMC because they didn't hire "south of I-10" in Houston. I was like....Houston is on I-10???

 

I am in a TMC truck right now and they are very picky on hireing areas and everything else toooooo. I have just over a year and am out 2-3 weeks barely making ends meet. a lot of low junk freight prices, and way too much time tarping....I have tarped steel I beams, shingles, slinkys just to name a few. Trucks are pretty....pretty slow 62mph, power cut too far, hard times in hilly areas.

 

i was told that a driver will tarp pretty much every load with tmc, maverick, boyd, wti, etc.

 

I had weeks I didn't tarp any load and I had weeks I had to tarp every load including shingles and foam roofing insulation.

Hey I use to work for them well"KTL" back in '03-'06 I live in CenLa 28miles south of Alex, (Bunkie). I was home every weekend,after 1yr of seniorty then was on a dedicated division for Weyhouser out of Holden. I dont know what they are like now being 10yrs past,but eard stuff has changed alot. I lefted for the railroad if you wondering why I'm not with them. Now i'm with WTI after a brake from the road and I love it here! and yes I am a leased purchase. good luck!
