I’m not saying I agree with it , but it is the way of the world now. Home Depot, John Deere.. I’m sure even though the rates and relationships are there, they don’t want anything to do with any of this

Well to be honest, I went back and revised my post. It's not really about an argument nor do I want one. We all have opinions, I respect yours. That said, nothing in this case has been proven to be fact. I'm saying I don't believe this one.
-
see how a respectful debate goes ? I asked for clarification and you clarified. But in that other reply you flew off the handle and got defensive. There’s no need for any of that.bryan21384, LilRedRidingHood and Coffey Thank this.

Nope. There’s a reason large companies have social media experts on staff, watching/checking everything, including investigative work on potential new hires.bryan21384, Coffey and EvertonP Thank this.

You don't "graduate the bar". You graduate from law school. Then you take an exam to pass the bar. If you're sharp enough you'll pass it the first time and be able to go to work for a decent firm.
If you fumble and stumble through three or four attempts to pass the bar your future is going to be rather limited and you'll wind up making stupid mistakes on filing and during discovery that spotlight your ineptitude..
If your haphazard approach to pre trial work reaches the judge your day is going to get a lot worse.
The above statement was from my daughter, an attorney of many years, who passed the bar the first time. She practices law similar to what we've been discussing here. She said she'd advise a client with a case like that to take a settlement or just drop the suit entirely.Last edited: Nov 24, 2022

Then I’d advise your daughter to look at case law and see the many frivolous cases that are heard and rewarded ridiculous settlements. The legal system is flawed so now everyone has a shot. Yes I used the wrong term but I’m not a lawyer nor a legal expert.bryan21384 Thanks this.

My apologies, I remembered it as a Fresh Air clip, not the reporters. I also seem to remember it as a longer article (40 pages plus) that couldn't be read in the time you replied.
In general, the study showed white people do admit that racism does exist in isolated incidents, they do not perceive it to be systemic or widespread. This conclusions jibes with Dtibbets assertion which Hounddog asked for evidence of.The_vett, LilRedRidingHood, AsphaltFarmer and 1 other person Thank this. -
You do realize that Sage Journals is not exactly what would be considered known for producing unbiased information this particular topic? The Marley Hypothesis is merely an opinion that's based on a Bob Marley song called "Buffalo Soldier", and a study was done. It was all on how a certain group perceived the definition of racism. There's not much fact, it was a theory. You could have 100 different studies and have 100 different theories.IH9300SBA, Jubal Early Times and EvertonP Thank this.

LOL...When you have a good lawyer you don't advise them of anything they don't ask you to. As far as case law goes she's probably familiar with more than the average attorney.Siinman and LilRedRidingHood Thank this.
