TMC requires you to wash your truck every other week, but you can wash it every week if you want. But you better keep the inside spotless. I knew a guy that got docked half a cent per mile for a month because he had a penny on the floor and a paper towel crumbled in the cup holder. I'm not sure how strict other flatbed companies are with their tarp training, but TMC requires you to shoulder a 120 pounder from the floor, carry it to the back of the trailer, put it on a steel coil on top of the trailer, then carry it back to where you started.

I worked @ TMC the tarps do not weigh 120lbs they are lighter but they are anal about their trucks I got wrote up for a jacket that was on my passenger seat I was told it should be on a hanger in my closet.

Yeaaah....I'm glad I chose Boyd...start next monday.

I don't mind keeping my truck clean, but if I wanted to join the Marine Corp I would have. Not my style. THanks for the reassurance. Those Petes are pretty but...nah...I'm good where I'm going.
