Don't get me wrong, Roehl is a great company, they will take care of you and I have a very good working relationship with my FM. That being said I stay out 3 week's and only get home for 3 or 4 days then back out. For this my biggest check was $850 for a week, typical average is $500 - $600 per week. In talking with multiple TMC drivers I think you will make more money with them, I'm considering switching if my paychecks don't improve. As can example Roehl only pays $12 for steel tarps compared to TMC paying $20 for the same tarp. (TMC correct me if I'm wrong about that). Most TMC drivers I talked to say they bring home$800-$1000 a week and that's with getting home weekly.

Again, I support Roehl as a great company to start with, but the jury is still out on staying with them long term till I can say my paychecks reflect my work.

Call TMC and tell them you're about to go to Roehl, if that doesn't light a fire under them you'll have your answer.

Chino, I started with Roehl fresh out of school, I had a great time with them. I had an awsome relationship with my FM, and that made life real easy. I am in the Ohio National Guard finishing my stint in the Infantry, so I would stay out between my monthly drills and I would run the entire 48. I would go back to Roehl if they would pay percentage. IMO I have found that I prefer this over CPM. But I am now running for PGT. Both have treated me extremely well, In my 2 yrs driving I have run into a lot of different company drivers. And of all the TMC drivers I have run into, they have told me that if you are not use to the military mentality it can be a little rough there. In no way am I telling you to go for Roehl or get you on to PGT but look at all the threads on here about the companies that you are interested in. That is what I did and it has paid off for me. Be safe out there and dont be afraid to ask questions, slow is smooth and smooth is fast. good luck on your journey
