Well my first week down in my own truck and I feel like I made the right decision by staying with TMC. It sucks at times in storms, etc tarping and securing, but I am loving the job. Good luck to any and all that pick TMC.
Godspeed and and thanks for all the well wishes,

new subscriber along for the trip here. I'm still in school right now but I want to run a flatbed and among the big companies, TMC is my pick. Talking to a recuiter now so hopefully all goes well. Some of the posts about TMC on here are kinda old so it's nice to get some fresh perspective. Keep us posted Gator!

Well after 3 weeks in my truck, I have done pretty well imo. Had a lot of different loads, load swaps, long runs, etc. I am still very much enjoying being here at TMC and glad they were final choice to grind my teeth. Toll reimbursements have been very timely so far and no unexpected deductions. I'll try and keep updates coming from time to time and let yall know how its going.
GatorSCNewbie, Fratsit and difference-maker Thank this. -
great job you should ask for the ezpass they are handing them out again. Remember stay off the indiana and ohio pike they wont pay for it.

Hi all!!! Just wanted to check in and give ya a quick update on how it's going here at TMC.
I am still alive and kicking. Doing pretty good. I have been staying busy and working hard. I am hoping to push my percentage up to 28% for our next snapshot. I still think I made the right choice in choosing TMC to start with. As long as you can follow rules and show improvement you have a good chance with TMC. I have currently been out for 3 weeks and ready to get to the house. It was my choice to stay out and run the west coast. I'll check back in later.
Good luck all

How much are you making a week on the percentage pay and what do they pay in the mileage pay?
-
checks have been from $250-750 but i pay child support, a loan payment, and insurance/disability out of that. before taxes its between 560-1100 so far. mileage they start new drivers at .31cpm. % starts at 23%. When your with your trainer you track all your loads both ways. from the loads I carried with my trainer % was hands down better. Plus its alot easier to get increases as a % driver. They do snapshots monthly(kinda) and you are paid based on your performance. cpm is more of a time of service increase. The snapshot on the 29th will be my 2nd one and I should be at 27-28%.
