TMC does stand for trucker marine corps. They don't tell there people that what type of orientation that there going to put them through. I hope its not like that were I'm heading.

Even though I'm on short-term disability due to an on-the-job accident (my own bonehead mistake), I actually can't wait to get back to work. Yes, I do work for TMC. I just miss being in the truck and getting out and going. Tell your husband he needs to consider talking to somebody next time he goes through Des Moines about getting a new fleet manager. I don't know the whole situation, but he's got that option. TMC management does listen to the drivers, contrary to popular belief. He just needs to take the first step. It'll be OK.
Tell him Catfish said to keep the shiny side up and the bright eyes pointing forward. No, he doesn't know me, but I'll be moral support. Y'all take care.

DAC stands for Drive-A-Check. Basically, it's the truck driving equivalent to a regular consumer credit report. Everything bad that happens goes on that report. But, if I'm hearing and reading correctly, the inception of CSA2010 will make the traditional DAC report obsolete.
Does this answer your question? -
yes sir, it does

And his trainer made a call Monday about his current FM. He has a new one this week and man, what a difference! Hubby less stressed which makes the wife less stressed and all is well.
Thank you so much!!

I'm glad he's doing better. I'm even MORE glad that you're not stressed as bad. You know how it goes.... If mama ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy. Anyway, one of the things that we realized is that TMC is not a bad company. They're just like every other trucking outfit. There's good, and there's bad, but opinions about that vary. Every driver will give you something different. I look forward to getting back to it, but this time's going to be different. I'm not going to go into detail about that though. Regardless, hometime and length-of-haul might not be the best, but I do like the percentage program and the awesome equipment. You have options and rights there, and management is willing to listen. No, I'm not an insider for the company. I'm simply a driver, just like your husband. Since he's doing better, keep us updated. I'm interested in learning how he's doing now. Take care!
