My class At OTC had A TMC rep come in he stated they thrive to be the best of the best Blck and crome great trucks great pay I would have no intentions to try it straight out of school.
Please dont be offended But theres old school trucker who wont attempt it But sounds as though your husband felt he was the best of the best and he might be.
But not all drivers that think this are if you had to buy the trucks for thease drivers would you be slack in choices?
TMC you make it or you dont wait it only gets harder from what I hear theres a high expectation any rate I hope he is one of the few but if not a couple years driving might help.

I worked for TMC. and other big companies. most of the time when someone is cut that late in orientation it's got some thing to do with background check or a late return of the drug test. and yes you will be fired for walking on the grass. at TMC.
if you can not follow that simple rule you will not follow the more important ones.

Yes trucker marine corps for sure!....let's not forget ....too much chrome!..I spoke to them awhile ago and the recruiter was real wishy washy and rude on the phone so the decision was wasn't hard to make ...also they called me exactly 1 1/2 hours after submitting the app so that made me wonder as well.....I know things aren't sunshine and rainbows in the industry especially with these large companies but you have to start somewhere....just do you research ask other drivers and pick the lesser of the evil and just take a chance.

That might be a good thing. Some of us do need to run laps every day and a few jumping jacks..:biggrin_25519:

They try to make you quit before you even start. Orientation is just like boot camp. You slip up they put you through hell just to see if you can handle the pressure. When I went through after the 1st day they dropped like flies. Do as your told and keep your mouth shut and its actually easy...just don't find nap time when the videos come out
