I’m talking about the drivers in the company the OP is referring to. There are trucking companies today where drivers have a union.
TMC publicly shaming its drivers.

I’d be willing to bet money that TMC and other companies have drivers dropping a dime on other drivers.TokyoJoe, Swine hauler, Lab work and 1 other person Thank this.

Your Honor my client has been publicly humiliated. I am not talking about the heroes in this industry. I am spicifically talking about my client. His enthusiasm for working for this company is destroyed and he is in need of psychological assistance. I heard rumors that he wears a safety vest to sleep with the letters TMC. Enthusiasm is out of control your honor.
Now lets put the unique situation in perspective. I understand most trucking companies have a policy that whenever a driver picks up a load they are required to weigh this load. Keeping the highway safe of course. (My little plug for my client) Now your honor my client agreed to pick up this load with nobel intent of safe on time delivery for the company that he enjoyed working with.
Unfortunately someone else failed to follow company policy and decided to leave a overweight load. And to make matters worse he was publicly humiliated after being set up.
Now because of this situation my client is forced to find another bottom feeder company to work for.
We are not asking for much your honor. But if you can encourage this company to actually tell the whole story publicly maybe other drivers can avoid being set up like my client.
Also we are seeking monetary damages and as soon as he recovers I will attempt to discuss this with him. Can we adjourn for a break because I need time to visit my client at the clinic and assure him you are contemplating his tragedy?Shadow dog, JolliRoger, x1Heavy and 2 others Thank this. -
I salute you for being the perfect driver, then.
We don't know the severity of the infraction that will get a writeup, the OP never said. You thinking a less than 100% perfect at a scalehouse won't get noticed? Or a tire repair due to curbing a tire?PE_T Thanks this. -

To think that 99% of trucks on the road right now won’t pass a real full-blown DOT on truck and trailer. Also, when was the last time anyone one of us saw someone crawling under their truck and trailer performing their daily inspection. Ha!x1Heavy and Swine hauler Thank this.
-
Where do you come up with this stuff? There is no doubt that mine would pass a full inspection on any given day.autopaint, IH Truck Guy, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this.
-
Because nobody has ever lied on the internet, right? Don’t tell me. You crawl under your truck every day.
-
I'm not Perfect by any stretch I'll be the first to tell you, but I'm not butt hurt coming on TTR complaining because I didn't scale my load and got caught because of my own stupidity either.

I would have to take a wild guess and say that every driver at TMC knows that they could possibly one day end up on that shame report, if it bothered them that much why didn't they quit TMC before it did happen to them? They had a choice and they decided to stay.... Am I right or wrong? -
I don't think it right, it should be in your personal file and not out to the public viewing. That's being very disrespectful to the driver and it shows how small mined the company is to there employees.mpd240, Swine hauler and PE_T Thank this.
