Larry, I have no idea. ?? I had applied for VA benefits, but have yet to hear back from the VA. I'm not really worried about it because #1- I received a DOT Grant for part of the tuition cost, and #2- TMC reimburses cost of schooling. I gave the TMC recruiter a copy of my DD214, and its my understanding that if I qualify, the VA helps pay my wages while going through TMC student program??
Like I said, I'm not really sure. If you dont want to talk to a TMC recruiter, you can chat with them on their web site, and have a copy of the chat sent to your email. Pretty sweet I thought.
Theres vet's driving for TMC. They can probably help you ALOT more than I can.

I only did 4 years. They have all sorts of stuff that is paid for before you get out.
Blind Dog Thanks this. -
Typically, the VA will only pay for accredited schools...you SERIOUSLY need to ask your local VA office or call the regional number to be sure (before you sign up) good luck

Thanks to all of you that responded and thank-you for your service to our country!!!! I served 4 years inthe Army and some time in Kuwait during the first Gulf War. Hot as h*** over there!! I will check with both the VA and TMC to see what they say. I tend to believe people who have already been there and done that over a recruiter. After all, my recruiter for the Army said that I would be in construction and I ended up in a tank!
Take care and let's keep the posts going.
