I'm not going to write a book here about why. TMC and WE have a lot of threads in here. read them and form your own opinion. Start looking at the trucks both companies have running down the road. Stop by some truck stops you should find both and look at the equipment and storage of the securement and tarps. Take in consideration your comfort while your out on the road. That's just my opinion. If you get the chance talk to the driver. But read these threads. I have nothing bad to say about TMC. Before I started with them I read these threads and everything they told me at orientation has held true. I think some people don't realize trucking is a lifestyle and flatbed is hard work in all weather conditions.
iam starting tmc on next Monday anyone got any advice for me I live in blewscreek nc any help would be great tks
When your there, you are on a job interview for 7 weeks. Do your best and you will be fine. If you have anything to hide with your past they will find out and you will be sent home at your cost. So be upfront about everything.
if you are going to Des Moines for orientation youll stay at the hotel next to the main terminal at TMC's cost. Breakfast at the hotel, and lunch at the training center. hotel is nice, but while you are there youll be under constant watch by staff.
