    I know legally speaking that most employment unless otherwise specified is "At Will". That means that both the employee and the employer reserve the right to terminate the employment at any time without notice.
    They (employers) don't give you notice when they fire you, works both ways.

    The only exception I would make is if you're leaving under good terms.

    Because really my only beef with the company lies with my dispatcher, not so much the company, as all the issues with them poor mouthing me starts and finishes with that douche bag. The company gave me my start and kept me rolling during some difficult times. If I could sue my former dispatcher, I might, but the truth is I left them behind in the past long ago and do not need to keep bringing it up. I have moved on and made peace with it.

    Yep, I got fired by USX & was in another truck a week later. But I had 6.5yrs in at USX. May have to do with why they say he was fired. Usually driving record medical or integrity issues is all that can keep you on the sidelines .
