No they lost my medical file when I left Iraq and went to another unit but I'm still seen at the Va so I might be able to get that. Only bad thing my doctor is out until Thursday. Thx for that suggestion though.
You should be able to call the VA and they can fax a letter in 10 mins. All they have to do is contact the nurse that works for the Doc and she can pull it up for you. Done this many times for my Dad and I always have the info with in a short amount of time... Hope this helps!
What the? If you provide the necessary paperwork, are you back in? You'd think this would have come up before they had you go to orientation.
Gears to be honest I think it had something to do with race. I'm not the kind of person that plays the race card but when you send home 3 black men who all had the paperwork you asked for before the deadline 2 of us are vets by the way but there are white men there that had worse situations that just get a pat on the back. My roommate had neck surgery in 08 he told me they didn't ask him for anything. Hmmm? Another white guy had 6 concussions while serving in Iraq. You know what they told him? Thanks for your service. That was the icing on the cake for me. But on to us xpress Monday I go. No one will get in my way of completing my goal. But I am thinking about contacting a lawyer I took the other 2 guys names and numbers. Now I'm on a 31 hour bus ride to Philadelphia they didn't even let me eat. That's f'ed up but I'm strong and will get through this.

Well this makes ya think about the company wow. Wont have a way back except a bus myself. They should have checked this stuff out first. wonder what i can check myself to cover my *** b4 going. Sucks about the trailer though, woulda helped.
Sorry about all that Miz860. That's really unfortunate (I'm trying to be pc). You're upset, and rightly so. I'd be mad as blazes too. While there's no excuse for their actions, nor any defense, I'd really consider letting sleeping dogs lay and forget about pursuing any legal action. Sadly a big outfit like that can make your life hell. I'd hate to see your career suffer because of it. I truly admire your determination. US Xpress it is.
