There are variables to everything.
I was never on mileage, but the people that i talked to who were i would ask them "Can you find out what the loads pay?" and they all told me no, so either that's a new thing, or they have different FM's.
My FM was great when i was OTR too.

So wait.. Your response to my post about ROAD DRIVERS percentage vrs. mileage and having to wait for loads while they figure out who can run it cheaper was completely moot? You're dedicated.. Right?
So ofcourse you aren't going to have to wait on loads longer than a road driver would, right? You're really starting to boggle me with this silliness.
Most of what we're talking about here is OTR, not dedicated. Nobody cares if YOU had to sit, these guys aren't going to hire in as DEDICATED drivers, but ROAD drivers. While freight may be "Booming" on your little lafarge drywall account that pays dick, it might not be moving at all out of southern indiana for example.. So your experience in that area means nothing, YOU'RE DEDICATED. In case you're missing the point here.
DEDICATED = COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN OTR. Which is what most of the posts you're "arguing" are referring to. I wouldn't come on here from my home depot dedicated and say "OH YOU GUYS ARE SUCH LIARS, FREIGHT IS SO BOOMING RIGHT NOW AND I'VE NEVER HAD TO SIT" Ofcourse not, that would just look stupid, right? -

Not driving for them anymore means nothing, like i've said before. This is a public discussion forum.
Regional is different from OTR? That's odd. Over the road is any position that keeps you away from home for any length of time longer than a day, right? Pretty much, anything that isn't dedicated or local is considered OTR.
Also, why wouldn't I know that? I actually did know that they eliminated long haul recently. Somehow you're under the impression that if you aren't long haul you aren't OTR? That's not true.
Lastly, how am i talking about anything that i don't know? You're the one calling people liars for saying that they have to sit for a few hours waiting on loads, and your basis for your claim is that YOU don't have to wait.. Well, ofcourse you don't, you're dedicated. See my point?
Also, you aren't offending anyone by constantly bringing up my termination, I could care less, it's probably one of the better things that have happened recently, judging by what i've been hearing. -
So where are you dedicated out of then? You diddn't answer him.
Dedicated out of the office in Des Moines? >.< -

Think you may have missed that paragraph. -
