TMC Trucks

    Today while driving on I-24 in Tennessee, I saw two TMC trucks within a quarter mile, both pulling trailers with rolling tarp systems installed. BUT, the really odd thing about one of them was that it was a Kenworth T800 that was white with black fenders. Is this an owner operator, or is TMC changing their trucks.

    It is a good chance the KW was an O/O. I don't think TMC has any of those left. I could be wrong. I think they got the KW's with that paint scheme when they bought out another company a few years back.

    I am at TMC in Des Moines right now. They have a very small amount of t 800's in the fleet. There are no plans to get more.

    KW T800s are used in the boat division. Some of the boat guys have Petes though.
