CO,CA,and AZ ! Yep,This is as close to these states you will ever get driving fo Maverick. Let alone all this Maverick USA/Mexico/Canada crap.
TMC actually runs the 48. Maverick has a better customer base for the 17-22 states the do service with their company units,
This "Destination Excellance" vs. "Ultimate Superace" stuff is funny to me. And to associate it with luractive personal income is hilarious. Why is this the common comparison?
I was never very intrested in a job with The Mickow Corp. but have one years exp.(1994) running for Maverick. And this one year is the least amount of time I ever drove for any company in my great life.
The "Superace" thing is the only thing in my book these 2 companies have in common. Each being better or worse in their OWN way, with TMC always being the bigger player by a longshot, and Maverick the dreamer

Well; it was because that show truck is not used to being in-between two work trucks.
-
It is funny how you worked there for a year 14 years ago and seem to think you have a firm grip on how the company is today.
-
Funny how I park anywhere in the 11 Werstern and you and your JOKE outfit are nowhere to even be imagined. You Dreamer. Please Reply !

There is nothing funny or revolutionary about rookie wise-guyz like yourself.. My crummy year, trumps your total experience with this company. And anybody can tell from the revenue sheets that when I was employed my unit# 9201 was number one, if not in the top five monthly, out of a couple hundred or so.
My people Love me for actual substance. If continual ridiculing of a former "Top Maverick Driver" is you and your familys idea of upward mobility than the joke is on ewe. -
If you ain't gonna contribute to the actual question, why even respond? You're like the other motor mouths that hang around the truck stop counters, jumping into conversations but not contributing anything.NukedNative Thanks this.

Terry, I did wait 3 weeks from the time I was told I was approved for hire till I was called to come to orientation, and if M7 is still in school, chances are good he won't have to wait to go.
One thing I have to chuckle about, when I was looking at both companies, I had a couple of Mav drivers tell me TMC meant 'Tarp More Cargo'. After going through Maverick's training and talking to lots of Mav drivers, I started to doubt that that was the case. Then, just last week, I talked to a ex-Mav driver who is now on with TMC (He mainly switched to work out of the SC terminal, 10 minutes from his home.) He said that although his does a lot of tarping for TMC, he said he did more with Maverick. He said it wasn't often that Maverick didn't have him tarp a load, even when shipper and consignee didn't require it.

You know as much about mav as you do me! I am far from being a rookie. Keep posting I need a good laugh.
You are the one that is always ridiculing on here. You are down on mav and that is fine, but for all the people that read your posts need to know that you have no clue about mav. I have been there a year and they are my 5th company that I have driven for since back in the 80's. They care about their drivers and it shows.
-
That all depends. I went 2 weeks in a row without touching a tarp and the load I have now is not tarped.
-
NoTarps,Near as I can tell.By your own admission: Thread started by yourself 5-10-2007 title "My Little Black Cloud" Its odvious you have less than a year employed by Maverick Transportation.
This is why I stated my one year trumps your total employment experience with this company.
I bet they have a place for you in the dispatch office. DREAMER!
