Because TMC finds good paying shippers then goes in and undercuts everyone else then puts the whip to the drivers to haul it. I started deadheading out of there after that. On the flip side I got to New York a lot by pulling some TMC loads that went to oddball or difficult places so it was a wash.

I've been kept busy as hell and I'm clearing $495/wk average for the entire time I've been with TMC. I posted all of my pay settlements in another thread.

    Man it's getting ugly.

    Another reason i haven't gone back. :(

I was averaging about 1200/wk bring home last summer, given i was a trainer as well but even when i diddn't have a trainee he kept me pretty busy on my own.

Hey brought home $750 this past check, yup ran 5 loads last week,,,woohoo!! oOh Yea forgot to mention that part of that was my $237 for toll reimbursements...

Ran 5 loads the week before, brought home $645 with $135 toll reimbursements.

I think they figure that without ezpass the checks appear bigger with the reimbursements added in:yes2557:

Now I do have the $89 bucks for insurance each week and don't run the weekends and do stay primarily in the NorthEast but to run 5 loads and walk away with approx $400-$500 just seems like alot of work and time in that truck for that amount of money.

Agreed Joe, I'm clearing about 500/wk, somehow 100 bucks a day for 14 hour days doesn't seem very fair. However, I resigned myself from day one that the only real value of this job was the experience which is necessary to take the next step into your own truck. If it weren't for the fact that I need this experience to move on I would not still be here.
