TN I-40 truck stop TO AVOID

A Shell station TS at exit 35, on I-40 (hwy 59 -- about 20 miles east of Memphis)....in Fayette County, TN is ILLEGALLY TOWING semi trucks:

Well, after a little digging in the Youtube comments:
Update on this, the truck stop owner had the emergency injunction approved by the court and all the signs were removed with police there as precaution. S line and A1's tow truck arrived as they were taking down the signs and cameras and served official papers by the deputies and told that they were barred from ever entering the property again. The owner says that the parking is free now and regrets signing anything with the company as they were, according to contract, only supposed to collect parking fees and keep the lot safe from lizards and scammers

Basically, the dude hired a group of people to keep track of the trucks coming and going and collecting the parking fee.
Well, they decided to tow everyone and charge them like $3000 to get them off the hook.
There's another story about it going around (in print).

 

Most of us are not fans of Mutha Trucker and won't watch his videos.

 

Rectified, or not -- I would not park there until the dust settles from that fustercluck.

I was there the other day. Not much going on. Talked to guy behind counter and he said we won't be towed and he has a court date with the people .
