So, I unplugged my 740 for the last time in November 2018. It was working fine then (less than a year old), but now plugging it in gives me nothing. No power at all. The DC in plug to 12 volt lights up fine. Plugging in the USB cable to either my computer or a wall charger also gives me nothing. NO power at all.

Am I done? Is it dead?

Have you left it plugged in for a period of time? Maybe it’s so dead that it needs to build up some battery charge prior to powering up.

I assume you can plug other tech items into the cords and they can actually pull power over the cables? Eliminate a power cord issue and not the unit itself.

    Yeah, ummmmm

The problem was just a very simple case of "Userus-Moronicus-braindeadimous". I just left it plugged in and voila! Who would have thought?

Glad it was a simple fix.
