My Rand Mcnally TND 730 all of a sudden turned on and I Have a blue Windows Embedded CE 6.0 displayed across screen. I click on GPS and it says not found. Why would this happen? How do I fix it?

Having same issue with it going to the loading screen and that's it. Rand wants me to send it in. Out of warranty usually runs about 100 (from my last experience). What I don't get, they hyped this and put it out as a tablet with android apps but you can't get it to boot into recovery mode. The overdryve, you can do the volume up and power simultaneously to reset but not this one.

    TND 730?
it is a Windows CE OS device, there is a way to update (fix) OS to auto launch Navigation.
one issue can be the Bin/FILES are damaged, the OS cannot find them, it ends with landed in the Shell CE window.. (or a Logo screen)
I will recover these files by using RM Docs (PC / mac) to update/repair them 1st.

It's the tnd80. Unless I am not doing something right, you can't do the old power on volume up trick. I know the is a way to get it to reset (hooking up to a PC will only charge it not recognize it in the computer as another device)
Back when I first got the tablet, I was having issues with it starting really slow and even it went to map, would show no signal. Mark sent me a couple of sd cards. You power it off, stick in the first one, power on, it boots into recovery from the card. Let it do its thing, put in second card and it fixed the issue. I would imagine RM is going to do the same thing if I send it in. Problem is, I have misplaced the cards.

Is there no way to use the operating system to go in to settings and do a factory reset somewhere in there?
