300 lbs would be a lot bigger than Id want to hit. But still a relative youngster. Some old sows and boars can top out easily over 500 lbs. Ive seen pics they claim are 1000+ lbs, but those are almost always refuted by someone .

Wish I still had the pics of a truck that hit a moose...was a mid to late 90s Pete... Did quite a number to the truck but it still drove away under its own power... The moose didn't fair as well.
