You’d probably get in less trouble for cussing at them! I was gonna say at least you wouldn’t need to wash out everytime. But then thought about it, and you might. My nieces and little nephews are gross and it always seems like one of them is puking, so scratch that last part.

He wasn't funning you .. it's the real deal.. you can't cuss at them .. we can thank PETA for that.. you can't touch them you have to coax them off your trailer.. you can have a plastic coffee can with a hand full of marbles in it and rattle at them .. but that's as far as it goes.. they have cameras on the chutes monitoring you all the time ..
What really pisses me off is the people at the chutes that work there can't speak a lick of English but they will drop a dime on you the 1st time you raise your voice at 1 of those hogs.. and you will be told to drop your door and leave the property.. and you will not be allowed at any of their plants for 30 days.. do it again and your out of life..
Even though that hog is gonna be hanging a rail in 30 mins you have to treat them like god

No way! You can’t touch them? Like with your hands because for fear of diseases or even with the little canoe oar looking thingy I’ve seen strapped to the side of trailers? (I’m sorry I don’t know the technical term for that tool, if you couldn’t tell). I’ve heard it called “the persuasion paddle”.

It's call a rattle paddle ..lol.. you can't enter their facilities with that on your trailer and if they pull a inspection on you at the guard shack and find a hot shot .. your screwed.. that's worse than marching down a school hallway with a AR15.. I'am being serious that's how crazy it's gotten.. you touch a hog with your hands your out ...you cuss a hog your out ...you blast a hog with a rattle paddle your out..and probably going to get a vist from the LEO because that is Aminal cruelty and up untill 4 mth ago you would be arrested.in the state of Iowa anyhow. I think it changed though.. Iam not sure because the state goverment has been jacking with PETA .. It's a total joke in my opinion

Some plants you can use a paddle some you can't. The ones you can't is because someone got caught being to aggressive with the paddle. Like swinging for a home run on the pig.
Some plants you can still use a shocker but not many.

Most of the rules, swearing included all have to do with perception. If John Q public walks by and hears you cussing at an animal it could be perceived as aggression. You have to treat the animals better than people. So many stupid rules all because of perception.

5 or 6 years ago jbs Marshalltown got shut down because someone tried dragging a live pig by its ears. Crap hits the fan if you do that. Everything stops while they go into crisis mode. Trucks in route are re routed all kinds of stuff. Trucks sitting there waiting to unloadbhave to wait even longer. Makes way more stress for all animals. All because someone grabbed a pig by the ear. Year or so later jbs Ottumwa, old guy that doesn't want to retire has his position eliminated (fired) doesn't know what to do with himself so he goes to the back room and puts the bolt gun yonhis head and ends it. Plant doesn't skip a beat.

That right there would be me.. I use to swing for the fence every time I had to load those stupid .. S.O.B.s .. I won't post on here what I use to do with the fencing pliers I carried when I use to have to haul cull sows from the buying stations to Detroit.

Firstly @Catmando and @lester thanks for taking the time to talk about all this and shedding light I had no idea about more than 1/2 the stuff you have mentioned. @lester you made mention of a plant not skipping a beat when a human perished, when I hauled meat I was waiting for a load in Milan, MO and the employees came out for a bit, then back in. I just thought it was a fire drill. Apparently a dude fell into some vat and died in a way I can only imagine was less than pleasant. 15 minutes tops they were shut down. Probably just to get him out, then all hands back on deck. Unbelievable.
