Well, figure out the difference in mileage involved.
Then figure the avg mile per gallon and the gallons used.
Then go to the penn turnpike site and figure the tolls.
Subtract the difference. -
ok thanks i did not think to check the website duh

I always ran up i think 66 to hwy 22 to lewistown pa and catch 322 or 22 both same road down to harrisburg.good running across this way and no scales Or drop down and catch 68 to 70 to 81 and then north have 1 scales in md and hard pulls

its cheaper to avoid the tolls for me. its 79.85 to run arcross the turnpike.

How heavy are you the pike charges by the weight
-
Toll roads charge by the axle, not weight. Would average about $100 round trip last year running across 76 in PA, around in Jersey & back to central IL based on 5 axles.
Haven't been out there since last December, but heading out in the morning for Toms River, NJ. -
way wrong answer...... pa pike charges by weight -
according to there website, you put in the enter and exit point, which class of vehicle and then the total axles. To me thats sounds like a flat fee.
