Trucker Path / Google Maps will show you if the roads are slow in Missouri. It usually takes the ground being at or below 32 F for 24 hours before precipitation freezes to it. IMO. Just because the air temp hits 32 doesn't mean the road instantly becomes a skating rink, especially if the state throws down salt. Roads shouldn't be bad, just keep a watch to see if you are kicking up spray. If you or others are kicking up spray it's just wet.
Once you see that you/others are no longer kicking up spray then it's starting to freeze. But it is not the same as being in a car, you have alot more traction with your weight.
