Too Cold For The Fan...

    I tried that last week. It was in the lower 30s and by the time I woke up the truck was wet stacking and the water temp was around 170. With a 190 thermostat I don't want to see anything below that.

    I was having issues with my fan working erratically with the a/c. My mechanic went into the ecm paremeters with his laptop and could see what temp the ecm was reading. That should help pin point your issue. On a side note my temp gauge sending unit has to be grounded for my temp guage to read correctly. It shouldn't need to but it does. Mines old enough that the ECM and temp guage are on separate sending units. You could give that a quick try on your ECM sending unit and see if there's a difference?
