that thing about "re-train" is actually the insurance company, I found 3-4 places tonight that sort of put you in the cab or something without an overload of the "sit in the class room" .... I dont know why this society is so that way but if you dig the forum posts you can find others that are not so dedicated to the idea that sitting in a room is better than miles .....

Do you know the person at your current company that does the HR? (verifies employment) Personally, I would try to pass off your current experience as OTR, or atleast a portion of it. 10 cents a mile is a big deal, and personally, I don't think you should get screwed that bad over a stupid insurance technicality.
