    I want to bust my ### and get as much experience as I can for a few years and then go from there. I don't want to change employers every few months. I want the opportunity to get home here in San Antonio.

    I spoke to a clueless recruiter at Stevens today...

    How much do you need to make for the 1st year?
    In San Antonio you can "start out" running local, after a year LTL companies will hire you.

    Ok.

    If OTR isn't what you're looking for, give R+L a call. They are what we call an "LTL" carrier. They have a terminal in San Antonio and use some class C trucks for guys starting out.

    U don't want to do tanker!! They go bang, kablooie, pop pop, and boom!! Hauling a reefer is where the money is at. You can be delivering chicken, beef, and pork to those fine folks at HEB. Get some expierence you can even pull HEB trailer's and make all kinds of money!!
