Too much weight

    I don't know. I seen it in passing. I didn't stop, get out and start inspecting his trailer.

    It was sort of a rhetorical question. Trailer looks old. Overload it a little and stuff happens.

    Just bad maintenance, end of story. There’s nothing wrong with 34 tons on 5 axles.

    If you overload by 3 tons every load you are still under the legal Canadian weight on the same trailer… however if you constantly fly across rough roads wide open I can see cracks forming easy . I’ve seen truck go over railroad tracks at 60 plus mph even though sign tells you to slow to 30 mph which most find 20 mph too fast .. airborne trailers do damage or stress when land .

    Have you seen the lease roads that oilfield drivers drive on? I've gone places in a loaded truck that most people wouldn't take their pickup.
