I tried my hand at "Grocery Delivery" in 2010 (when I was 43) and found I was too old, or out of shape to deliver 16,000 lbs. of goods, on a cart, down a ramp, up/down some steps, through doors, into a pantry/cooler/freezer, 300 lbs. at a time, at 3 o'clock in the morning.
Other than that, I'm just fine. And I feel like if I had started THAT job in my younger days I would have been fine too----because there are guys my age or older that do it, but they started at a younger age, and are used to it.
My question would be:What took you so long to enter the working world in the first place? One job for 16 years, would make you 33 when you started?
Too old at 49?
