Lots of companies pay for school anyway, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t take someone that already has one. That surgery is going to cause more headaches than anything.

Saw an ad a few months ago for driving a fuel truck and fueling aircraft at the Naval Base in Milton.

Okay, Chinatown full of pixx and vinegar, as usual, but I think missed the point. I'd say a year is about all you get with a "fresh" CDL. After that, a company will want a refresher course. Here's what I'd say to their "refresher" course,,,but that's me.

It doesn’t make sense when you think about it. Having a CDL-A is a check in the box, and it doesn’t mean anything from the practical aspect of driving, hence the 5 weeks with a Stevens trainer or 10 weeks with a Wiley Sanders trainer.

A guy in my class had an old CDL. He paid full price—$5000—and went through the entire course. He just didn’t have to take any state CDL tests.

    snowman1980 and 201 Thank this.

Hopefully on the other side I’ll be pain free. My right shoulder continually throbs and stabs with pain, and steroids, NSAIDS, and 12 year old Darvocets don’t help. That’s what I get for swinging a sledge hammer overhead for two weeks. I guess I need to accept the fact that I’m almost 58. :)
