Hey bud your not the only VFW on this board. I remember being able to flunk and go there retraining. But I will give it to ya and say.
If you went thru boot camp (hope not during the stress card days) and bivwac and 20 mile forced marches. Maybe airborne or air assulat training. Then stop whining like a 30 day REMF. Saddle up sally, suck it up spit it out, and always remember BOHICA.
Top bunk, don't do it, ever!!!

Nice if ya can get away with it. What company or trainers the trainee set the rules. It's more like "dude" if I have to sign off on your paper work. We MIGHT compromise but you dont get to make the rules. Dont like it, find another trainer and truck. I didnt pay my dues for some newbie recruit to tell me how I'm gonna do my job. -
omg he played the marine bootcamp card. Everyone makes it through marine boot camp pal. Its not BUDS school.

I’ve slept at the top bunk of few times while I was with cr england back when. This was due to the fact that my team member was a freaking pig and would rather not dirty my sheets with his pig oils. Seriously this dirty mofo showered maybe once a week had him for 2 weeks only showered twice while I found time to shower every day. Boy is it rough sleeping up there. Any turns the other driver takes is amplified on the top bunk almost fell a few times cause of some pot holes in Indiana. I do not recommend anyone else do it I did have a safety harness on the top bunk but still wouldn’t recommend sleeping up there.

Getting your own truck is like getting sprung from jail. You decide when & where to stop and for how long. However, you are responsible for all decisions. So there's that.austinmike Thanks this. -
