All do and none of those are thermoelectric, they are real compressor fridges. You can easily tell by the price and the description. If you aren't paying a couple hundred or more you're getting junk. Just the way it is. My Truckfridge was $600 but I've bought several of them for trucks and I know they last.
Top open refrigerator?

The description will give you the dimensions, type, etc... but it has a compressor, not thermo-electric.
If I had the need for it, I'd get one myself... -

I bought my IndelB from this fellow 20 years ago. It is still keeping my stuff cold.

Don't be ridiculous.
He needs something that fits in the truck.

Studebaker Hawk, Snailexpress and Socal Xpress Thank this. -
I've had an 84qt whynter portable chest unit for over a year now and LOVE it. Can go from -8f to (I think) 40f and runs off a 12 volt cig outlet or a standard household plug. Expensive though, $700 from Amazon, but anything you buy for the truck can be claimed as a business expense when doing taxes.
Keep it on my top bunk, used as a freezer.
Snailexpress Thanks this. -
I bought a Dometic 40 or 50 qt refrigerator from the Petro north of Birmingham AL. It weighed nearly 50 pounds empty and the volume was hardly usable you could stand up a few 2-liters but anything square and wider than a 2-liter wasn't going to fit. I immediately returned it just because ofbthe weight. Totally impractical for my use, although I'm sure it's far more effective than the 12 volt Igloo & Colemans Ive been using. I just buy the 2 year warranty on them andvreplace them when they die in 11-14 months. At least I can carry them full or empty and they cost $120 instead of $500 or $700

Some pretty good reviews on those on YouTube. A bargain compared to an Engel and low power usage. Just Chinese that’s all.
