Top quality antenna mount

Ohh, well, then that's ok. It won't be a problem if everyone just runs a w5k. Silly me.

 

There's thousands of antennas available that screw directly to that mount so you're not limited to a Wilson 5000.

 

MFJ doesn't seem to have a problem in doing it. I just see someone jumping in and doing less and yet still advertising "quality".

 

This Breedlove mount doesn't have those indentations but it is a quality mount. Eliminating a useless feature doesn't mean it's less quality. Actually it seems quite practical.

 

Diamond K400 mounts on my FJ Cruiser. Vehicle is RF bonded to improve efficiency and note method for rear door. Mounts worked well.

 

Ok, your right. It doesn't matter for the antenna side. It was just a knee-jerk reaction on my part. Always seeing the flat connection on the coax/feedline side makes my eye twitch.

 

My coax is actually directly soldered to the mount. Then I got shrink tubing to make it totally waterproof
