Top Secret Security Clearance?

1) I have come across people who cannot advance in their jobs, let alone get any kind of a government security clearance, due to "input" from former employers, former co-workers, former neighbors, former "friends", and jilted lovers.
2) How one acts or conducts themselves in their younger years, often determines how one will progress or do well in their older years.
