The re torque after 50 miles is mostly due to dirt. When you tighten the wheel without wiping it off good and the dirt later comes out its a loose wheel. The aluminum wheels are wider also and are more prone to bind up on the hub especially hub pilot, after a few miles if the were ####ed just a little bit they are loose. There are 2 sizes of hub pilot nuts that I know of bot have the proper torque on the washer of every nut. The daytons are usually ####ed and not tighten proper cause of no patience. Once the stud pulls out of one its a constant battle.

    i purchased this multyplier.
really works fine but I do not feel the actualt torque, so IMO, some experience required

I just changed my first tire. I used the multiplier. Be ready to spend an hour taking lugs off and on with this multiplier. works great, just an extra hour on those nuts. Im gettin an impact wrench. I don't think I can spare an hour just taking the lug nuts off an on.

TA torqued my tires to 475lbs ft. So it says on the receipt.

I think the best use for the multiplier is to break the lugs free and then use a small impact using the trucks air to drive the rest of them off. It takes maybe 10-15 turns to break them loose.

That hour you "lost" was gained in roadside call out fee. Some roadside repairs bills are downright highway theft.

oh, yeah, last time i lost a $1000 because the roadside that came to change my tire was a total ####### that charged me a ton and then put on a BS tire that blew out in 100mi.

what I'm saying is that I have a feeling that a 700-1000 lbs ft air wrench for $250 from amazon would be better than the multiplier. Im totally using my trucks air next time. I'll connect to my air tanks. This time i tried using 325 ft lbs electric wrench to take the nuts off after the multiplier but 325 ft lbs had a major trouble even pulling loose nuts off :( Im returning that impact wrench. Here is the 700 lbs ft kind I ordered a few minutes ago: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WMN2GU?ref_=pe_623860_70668520
