Now, you could have Mom drive the 80 miles over to where you're at and do some role play if you catch my drift. ;-) You'll be legal no matter how you look at it.

Like I said before, to each their own. You're right, it's a lot of "what ifs" but it only takes one to wreck your career. No, I wouldn't get fired or even get in trouble if a customer kicks me out of their lot because I'm out of hours, and even then you can still get a citation when simply moving to a legal parking spot.

But no DOT officer is going to accept that you're driving illegally just to get home. I want to see my family as much as the next guy, but if I lose my job or wreck my CSA score and can't provide for the, anymore, what's the point?

But like I said, I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, I'm just saying I wouldn't. Plus, like I said before, if I sit overnight I get an extra day off when I do get home. Good trade in my opinion.

I would go back and start logging as SB from about 30 minutes after I got there. If you have already been there say 3 hours, then you only have 5 hours to go in SB and you can roll home Dude. (Split sleep)

I barely ever do a full 10 all at the same time anymore. Can't. Unless I want only like 4 loads and 17 miles for the week and get home Saturday afternoon. :biggrin_25523:
