I can definitely appreciate how vastly much more it costs to employee someone over top of their actual pay. However, it does seem like they are making it look much better then what it is.
However, I agree with others that working those hours and home every night. It seems like fair pay the 79k.

At one point in a past life, Planning staffing levels was part of the job. When calculating the cost of employees, we added 38 percent to the annualized pay rate to cover the employer’s cost.
What most don’t see is the liabilities that an employee brings. Things like pay for vacation, holidays or other compensated time off. It has to be accounted for, and made available in short time.
