I hauled a 400 mile load for $500 bucks for them. They deducted $250 off the shipment for no reason. Proof shows it all, cant get a hold of their accounting or the broker himself. GARBAGE!

 

400 miles for $500?

I hope that was a Miami Florida up to Dothan,Alabama Light and easy quick load n unload too. For that kind of money

Or Worcester,Mass back to Pittsburgh

TQL is a multi billion dollar enterprise...how else do you think they got all that money?

 

Exactly, and they have a pool of tens of thousands of truckers out there willing to make them even richer.

 

They call my place every couple of weeks looking for a load. Most of the time we can handle the load, but when it goes a distance we see if it's cheaper. Most of the time they want 30 pecent more than what we can do it for. The one time we were going to use them, when we said ok they wanted to raise the price. We said, screw you.

 

And every one of them had a choice. TQL is what you make of them. If you're just another cheap carrier to be used and abused, then that's on you for letting it happen when there's a gazillion other options.

 

TQL is really no different than most any other broker, they all have cheap loads, and most of them will open their check book when they have to move a load to take care of a customer. My only real gripe about them is the "spam" they put out on load boards, posting the same load from different cities, pisses me off every time I see that.

I've only used them once, and likely won't use them often. But when they call I always throw out a big number to see how badly they want to get a load moved.

 

The vast majority of truck drivers are cheap slave labor who are afraid to stand up for themselves, which is why they deserve to be exploited and brutalized for pennies on the dollar

 

I have seen D & L brokerage on the board before. If that's you ,than what you said is funny as hell

 

If people are willing to work for cheap, who am I to stop them? Milk the cow, cause she won't last long...
