I go back and forth on TQL all the time. I've had some great loads from them in the past but am so leary of them and their ways I rarely answer the phone when they call anymore. Maybe 1 time out of 25 times when they call I answer just to spot check and see what is offered. It's always some loser of a load. Haven't booked anything from them in over a year now. In times like these I tend to stick with the same brokers that I know and trust. I don't trust TQL plain and simple and it's difficult to do business with people when you don't trust them

Companies like TQL and Scot Lyn Logistics are largely just a blight on the industry. I've said it here many times. Compare them to CHRW and there is absolutely no comparison. Say what you will about CHRW but they don't pull the stunts that show complete and total disrespect to carriers like TQL does. What you see is what you get with them. I will work with CHRW in good times and bad times. TQL only gets a look from me when trucks are really tight.

Now any broker out there reading this you have to ask yourself how do you treat carriers? And wouldn't you rather have one that will work with you all the time through the normal ups and downs of freight as opposed to one that only worked with you when you were pulling your hair out screaming where are all the trucks???

And not to cheer lead for just CHRW. There's other much smaller brokerages out here that do things right and even more personable than CHRW. But for a big company I will give them credit where it is due, heads and shoulders better and easier to work with than most megas.
