Off topic, but I've had a Streamlight for about ten years. It started acting up a couple years ago. I sent it to them. They sent it back with all new guts, and two brand new batteries. Love the flashlight, and love the company.

That’s a glowing review that really puts the spotlight on the company.

i had at least 2 instances where i tried to call someone on the cb, or motioned to them, they had a problem.

i was either told to "F" off via the radio, or i was "flipped off".

    after that second time?

i never bothered trying to be of any help, anymore. .

call the police, let them handle it, if he gets a ticket for an unsecured load, so what, he most likely did not stop along the ay to check things.

I'm just glad I could shed some light on the subject. The purchase really has me beaming with pride.

    YOU CALL THE COPS.

    WHY?

Because it is the right thing to do.

You are a professional, you know when something isn't secure or safe.

Getting his attention is your first order of business but if you fail CALL THE COPS.

What the hell is going to happen to you if you call the cops and he gets pulled over to secure the load?

    Really?

    Not a thing.

When they get into the wheels they tend to rip off what ever they are hooked too.

Seen a chain get into trailer wheels and rip of a section of the the trailer side rail.

I've seen a 48' tarp wrapped around a driveshaft. Pulling all air, electric, and coolant lines out of a new w900. Plus frame air lines, and brake valves.

I've seen a yellow strap around a driveshaft almost completely pull a headache rack/cabinet between the frame rails.

Secure proper and drive like it is not secure. You will do well.

That's if the cops even care, or show up. More revenue in the accident.

Not all the time, more time to fill out accident reports and taking steps to document an accident. A ticket is how many pages and how long to write?

Cops may not even issue a ticket, they may just pull the driver over and have him secure the load.
