Often times I wonder how some people are even smart enough to remember to breathe.

I know what you mean. The thing that saves them, though, is that breathing is an involuntary function... they cannot help but do it. #### shame, too.

Looks to me like a repo, because there were no markings on the rig. Car was likely nosed in, and the owner likely got aggressive causing the driver to bail with the car dragging behind him. Hard to set the dollys or drag it out to re-hook from the front when you are being assaulted by the owner who would likely jump in and flee if you DID drop it to rehook. I'd be willing to bet the people in the car were related to or friends with the deadbeat on the back of the truck attempting to stop the repo, because that's the only excuse I can think of for placing themselves in harms way passing and blocking the truck while rolling tape. Me personally? If I were that repo guy and you assaulted me while I was doing my job...and then you attempted to use your car to block me as I tried to remove myself from the situation? I'd PIT you in a heartbeat and call the cops to report the incident as I continued on down the road. "I was in fear for my safety." YOUR OWN VIDEO would back up my claim, as would my dash cam.

Maybe the people chasing him with the camera are the ones that he repo'ed the car from?

If you look closely, near the end, I think he did whack it against the Volvo that was parked on the side.

Definitely a hook and book, if the story is correct, it's a repo in Compton, i highly doubt I would've stopped either

Except that now you've got 3000+ lb paperweight swinging back and forth while going down a public road, possibly endangering people and property. Congratulations, you've gotten yourself a failure to secure load properly citation. And if that swinging car injuries or kills someone while being towed, making money off the repo will be THE LEAST of your worries compared to a possible lawsuit(its too close to tell if that Volvo actually got hit but the video shows the tow truck blowing thru two stop signs).
