Anyone knows any company to tow my truck International prostar from Atlanta to Chicago and what should something like this cost ? What is the best option for long distance tow, Just a truck not with trailer.
    Blown engine , not wreck.
    TIA

    Run it over to

    Haggi Auto and Diesel Repair
1228 High Falls Rd, Griffin, GA 30223
    Phone: (678) 688-8107

He has a fantastic reputation for repairs, especially motors, if that is your plan to have it rebuilt. What motor is it? And year? If Cummins, this is the guy you want to see... If a MaxxFart, he could swap motors for you. One of the few guys in the country I would trust with my ProStar ISX... He is Rawze approved. And right down the street.

2011 cummins 435st , I'm planning to rebuit it but i do know mechanics in Chicago who are doing good quality work , and rather do the work here if possible. For some reason it also cost more to do this in Georgia then in Chicago.

Give Mr Haggai a call, he is quite the Cummins guru and is reasonably priced. I know more than a few customers of his that he literally saved their bacon. The CM-2250 and 2350 fuel pumps. he was one of the first to save one and restore it to operational duty that I know of, and can tune a few extra MPGs out of a motor too. The guy knows his stuff, I would call him.

Also, if you don't mind getting dirty, he will give you a wrench, save a few bucks by helping to rebuild your motor. I don't know many guys that will do that.

An independent 1 truck 1 guy tow operator is going to run you about 3500 bucks. A bigger company is going to be almost double that.
