Seconded...with the caveat of specifying franchise chains. That and Kwik Trip, as far as regional chains go, tops in the country. (Actually, Town Pump beats Kwik Trip only because of the driver lounge areas and 15000 showers, not to mention plentiful parking. But KT got Town Pump on the fresh produce.)

Someone already mentioned it, but yes they contract out their fuel operations to PFJ at most of their locations. That's where the PFJ influence ends, though. (Well, almost...you can accrue PFJ points and redeem showers at Town Pump same as any PFJ.)

    A-doggone-men. Same here.

    Maverick is owned by PFJ.
They have a few different store models.
They do have the lowest diesel fuel price.
Almost all locations do not take comdata. They do take other fuel cards. Some do have a small, like 10 trucks parking area. They do have a selection of food products. Both hot and cold. Some have taco and or pizza kitchens.

There is a Maverick Truck Stop in Santos, Texas, on I 20 and another in Las Vegas.
Then there is the Maverik chain in Notheren Az, Utah etc. Maverik is not owned by PFJ. It is owned by FJ Management. FJ Management is owned by the Call family, former owners of the Flying J chain before the PFJ deal happened. Hence the no Comdata. Flying J didn't take it either after about 1996 when they had a falling out with Comdata over some fees. They bought Maverik in 2012. They also own about 15% of PFJ and still own the refinery north of SLC, among other things.

    Lite bug Thanks this.
