Received this email notification from TQL. Haven't used these guys for a long while. This is just great ;-(

Sure, now they take steps to ensure their data security. I guess it wasn't high on their list of priorities after making billions.

I wouldn't tap any of the links in the email. This email could be a way to get your bank information.
    Good luck.

Yeah, I would never do that.

However, the email is legit. I confirmed it.

I got a second email and it outlines the steps in putting a personal fraud alert on the 3 credit bureaus and some other stuff.

So I was thinking about getting a new bank account number, but I have a feeling that it may not make much of a difference, unless I stop completely using bank checks or paying with ACH and also getting paid by ACH. Then I also have my bank account set up for all sorts of alerts that I receive by email, and finally bank fraud is covered by my bank as long as it is reported within 60 days.

I am glad I never set up ACH with them. That was thanks to this TR forum where a person was complaining that they helped themselves with 2 grand from his biz checking account after alleged claim was filed. LOL.
The ironic thing is that it had to happen to a broker that was branded by many as the worst of the worst.
