I think due to the recent Equifax and Experian data breaches, both have probably felt compelled to offer their monthly service for free (or at least that’s how it seems). They do sell other services for those interested, but I don’t see how they can benefit me as long as my reports are frozen. On a second thought, maybe they can help me prevent someone from using my SSN for employment.
I applied for my home loan. The preferred lender for my new home. I get porn crap texted to my phone now. And starting yesterday. I'm getting undeliverable emails that i never sent. We have absolutely zero privacy. If I were president. Our privacy would be top of my list. Too bad no president has that on their agenda.
A president would only start a government program to increase privacy which would start with getting more of your info and it would then promptly be mismanaged. You sure you want the government to get involved any more in your life? If you're in trucking WAY too many people have your info and it isn't going to change. Just takes one bad apple that works for any broker, any tracking app, any trucking company at all.
The government will protect all of your info, but first we will need all of your info to make sure this is really you. And also forward us any new info as soon as your current info changes so that we can keep out government database of every citizen’s info current. Thank you.
Have you tried blocking the text messages and searching online to fix that problem? I occasionally receive spam calls, voicemail, and text messages about trucking insurance or other services, but I always block them. It does appear to help reduce this occurrence.
