Going on whats been presented I think the OP could get all the money if handled right. -
We do loads fro TQL and only have had like 2 problems, we make them our last resort though. We use Coyote alot.

Windsmith.
We have run quite a few loads for Coyote over the last year, we will not run under $2.00/ mile. They do pay at only 30 days , which is slow for a US Based 3Pl. They have been pretty professional. We will also run for CH Robinson about 3 times a year , when they are stuck. We just delivered a load yesterday for them in an ice storm up in Quebec city , we got $3.00/ mile. They generally want to pay in $1.50/mile range. -
Well, TQL finally paid for the load, minus the huge amount of detention time at the second drop. It seems that the "power of the pen" has some influence.

We had a similar problem with them. TQL failed to schedule a delivery appt. Our truck unloaded following week. They charged us a huge fee for delivering late even that it was their fault to begin with. We usually work with the same person from TQL and never have any issues. This load had been booked with someone else. The problem is not TQL necessarily, it's really the person who you work with.

LSAgentOZR Thanks this.

Hauled the load 120 miles to the yard and dropped it, picked up another trailer to run with. Broker kept calling with new appointment times, but we were too busy to get back to it for a few weeks. Ended up getting paid for storage and the extra miles to/from the yard plus the original rate.
As for TQL, you get a different broker for each load that you call on. Really bugs me when you get the "I can't quote you a rate, the broker handling that load is in the bathroom"... :/ -
