I was in Walmart store the other day getting a bike for my kid. A lady announced over the speakers that a customer is waiting to pick up his online grocery order at least 5 times during the 10 minutes I was there.
Walmart needs to do a lot of work to be a somewhat competitive to Amazon

 

If you hate the company and what it stands for so badly
why would you accept their policy of letting drivers use there parking lots for a rest

 

The fact that K-Mart is still hanging on, albeit by a thread, is a perfect indication that Walmart has nothing to worry about. Walmart's footprint is so massive, and we serve so many people and communities, we won't have to worry about stores being replaced by online in our lifetime. Sure, they're positioning us for the future, and that's great, but I wouldn't worry about Walmart declining any time soon, if ever.

 

It is your assumption that I do. The fact that your assumption is incorrect is a problem.
It is also fact their wages are so low the cashiers and stockers get food stamp subsidised by MY taxes.
This, among other things I listd in original post, is why I am no fan of their business model.

You know what? I DID that, and guess what genius...it made me even MORE proud to work for this company. Backfire. It shows that Walmart knows how to stay in business and thrive, whether YOU like it or not! As far as employees being on food stamps because of low wages? Sing a different song, it's a broken record, Walmart pays HIGHER than most other retail and food service jobs, but it's just convenient for the ignorant, classless crowd like you to pick Walmart out of the rest of the pack. You're a little, angry pathetic 'man' who would get your clock cleaned if you had the balls to say to anyone's face what you so boldly post on your computer or phone. Do everyone a favor and just disappear, go shop at one of K-Marts 9 remaining stores or Target where your in-the-air nose will be more at home. Just get the hell off this forum.
