GPS Per day for each offender total: 124x$8.30= $1029.20
    One year of monitoring: $375658.00
50 years of monitoring (let's say, that is the average the GPS would have to be worn : $18,782,900

    vs.

    1 9x19mm round: $.07
    124 9x19mm: a little more than $15.00

Now, tell me, WHY are we keeping these idiots alive and tracked at great cost to us. Don't forget, they will probably commit MORE crimes despite the bracelet. Instead, less than $20 could solve the problem...

So does that mean when the batteries go dead they cant track him any more?
All a guy has to do is go camping for a couple days
    No signal and no battery
    Useless
But just under 9 bucks it is cheaper than jail
