Freightliner Century, 330 gallon tanks, two drivers and about 700 pounds of supplies in it will load about 47ish K into the great dane reefer. We usually are a thousand over tare and have to go past scales with that weight taken off by not fueling up as much until past that scale. Thus 80-81K gross common. This was in 2001.
We have been fortunate in running for a particular shipper in Memphis again same set up but with a Kenworth T2000 and heavy, but the medicine loads do not weigh anything against the overall gross.
I could try and remember particular tractor weights but for me and my thinking it's easier to remember what "You can put on the box or deck" if you took a 48 foot covered wagon spread and a volvo midroof, you could load 52000 as long it's aluminum and 2/3 fuel. Another weight would be a short mack day cab and a container chassis that is only 6000 pounds. There is however a permit in the states I run to take 99K gross on a 40 foot box or even a 20 footer. With that permit as long it's 99 or under, axle weights are meaningless. And Ive had situations where loads gross were theoratical above 140 to 160K.
Tractors have gotten progressively heavier that I could see over the years. But not all of them. -
